June 4th  - Guided Walk (Witty's Lagoon)   - Join a CRD naturalist as they see what lives deeper in the ocean: fish with horns and much, much more. Be prepared to get your feet wet (bring sandals or beach shoes). Meet by the information kiosk at the end of Witty Beach Rd. BC Transit #54 or #55 10am to 11:30am (All ages)

June 5th - Guided Walk (Witty's Lagoon) The tide is way out! That means the sea can no longer conceal its strange and wonderful creatures! Be prepared to get your feet wet (bring sandals or beach shoes). Meet in the Tower Point parking lot. BC Transit #54 or #55 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm | 6 years+

June 6th - Early Evening Canoeing (Elk/Beaver Lake) Paddle in the evening searching for eagles, herons, turtles and other lake life with CRD Regional Parks’ naturalists. Canoe equipment and instruction are provided and no experience is necessary. You must pre-register: $20+HST/pp (15 yrs+); $10+HST/pp (5-14 years and adult non-paddlers). Phone 250.478.3344. June 11th - Take a hike!  (Gowlland Tod Provincial Park) Join CRD Regional Parks and BC Parks in celebrating their 45th and 100th anniversaries. Take a Hike is a fun-filled day of hiking and celebrating parks for all ages and abilities. 10am - 3pm

June 12th - Morning Mist Canoe Adventure (Guided Paddle)  Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park  Paddle through early morning mist searching for eagles, herons, turtles and other lake life with a CRD Regional Parks’ interpreter. Canoe equipment and instruction are provided and no experience is necessary. You must pre-register: $20+HST/pp (15 yrs+); $10+HST/pp (5-14 years and adult non-paddlers). June 18th - Guided Walk - Island View Beach. When the tide goes out an exciting world comes into view. A CRD Regional Parks’ interpreter will help you discover the creatures that make Island View Beach their home. Be prepared to get your feet wet (bring sandals or beach shoes). Meet at the picnic shelter off Homathko Rd, off Island View Rd.  10:30 am - 12:00 pm | 5 years+

June 19th - Life's a Beach (Guided Walk) Low tide at Witty’s beach reveals a new scene with a whole new cast of creatures. Join a CRD Regional Parks’ interpreter to peek under rocks and search in the tidepools to get a glimpse at these organisms and learn about how they cope with life at the beach. Be prepared to get your feet wet as we will be doing some wading. Meet at the kiosk at the end of Witty Beach Rd. BC Transit #54 or #55  1:00 pm - 2:30 pm | 5 years+

June 26th - East Sooke Regional Park Coast Trail (Guided Adult Hike) Join CRD Regional Parks for one of Canada’s premier day hikes – East Sooke’s Coast Trail. This challenging 7-hour naturalist-led hike is for avid hikers. Enjoy ocean breezes, great views and lush coastal forests. Fit hikers only. You must pre-register: 10+HST/pp. Phone 250.478.3344.
