Donations

Young Parents Support Network work would not be possible without grants and donations, from individuals and organizations.

Types of Donations

Financial

We are always incredibly appreciative of financial donations.  Although we are experts at stretching a dollar, funding is always tight.
Examples of what your donation can do:

• $10 buys healthy snacks for families who are attending groups such as parenting or prenantal education

• $40 buys an outreach meeting for families in need. In this time, we can assess need, help fill out necessary forms, brainstorm goals, make referrals and provide emotional support for an otherwise isolated young parent family.

• $100 provides a childrens program for two support groups, serving 16-28 families. The children's program provides enriched child care which allows parents to learn parenting skills, work on goals, and learn about child development. Most of the families we work with could not attend groups without childcare.

• $1000 supports our core costs, enabling us to provide a warm and welcoming place where young parents can come anytime for a supportive conversation, a cup of tea and a snack.

Baby/Prenatal/Kids Stuff

Our Free Store depends on donations of gently used baby, children and maternity wear. We also very much appreciate donations of baby food, formula and diapers. Size 4 diapers and car seats are especially popular!

Vitamins and Supplements

We accept new, sealed, quality vitamins and supplements. Many parents and children need vitamins and other supplements, however most families can not afford this cost.
