YPSN’s Family Support Worker and Perinatal Outreach Worker can:

• Respond to requests for support and/or help with crisis issues
• Meet at our family centre or in the community to offer emotional support and assistance in accessing community resources
• Assist in developing plans to reach their goals
• Accompany to meetings as a support person or silent witness
• Build a relationship and help foster a sense of community
• Work around future planning and goals
