Our AGM is coming up soon and we hope lots of families can make it! The meeting will start at 5pm at YPSN. There will be childcare available and pizza for dinner! We will have gluten and dairy free options available. Pot-lucking is also an option for those who want and are able to bring something. Bus tickets are also available.
At the AGM we will be electing our new board! If you're thinking about joining the board, but have no idea what boards do or what the different positions mean, come to our board information session, August 18th, at 5:30 at YPSN. Childcare, snacks and bus tickets provided.

Submitted by admin on Wed, 2004-11-10 12:33. About YPSNYoung Parents Support Network (YPSN) is a small, non-profit organization whose mission is to support and empower young parent families.
YPSN was formed in 1994 by young parents who saw the need for an organization which would meet their unique needs and which they could have a strong voice in running.
Today, YPSN meets those needs through parenting programs and groups for parents, and one-to-one services for young parents facing challenges in their lives.
YPSN is a provincially registered non-profit society whose board of directors is primarily made up of young parents. We are also a federally registered charity.

Our new Location...
Our agency is small and we leaped out into the unknown when we moved from our little downtown office to our big new space in Fernwood. One year later, we now offer more support services and more opportunities for young parents in Victoria. We now have a stroller ramp so you can roll right in, and thanks to the United Way, TELUS, Vancity, Coast Capital, and the TLC fund we have a 2nd family support worker and can offer intensified pregnancy support, including prenatal classes & birth doulas.
